Vol 3 is in the works and it is planned to be ready mid 2010.<br> We are also discussing another book, which I hope to reveal soon. My new Mountain of Power album, "Volume Two", will be released on Grooveyard Records in December, featuring prominent guests such as Ty Tabor, John Norum, Paul Shortino, Thomas Larsson, Sven Cirnski, Greg Martin, Jarrod England, Christian Rivel, Maria Rådstam etc. New reviews up! Subtopia, Horisont, Three Minute Madness, Time Code Alpha, C.B Murdoc, Badmouth, Coldspell, LemonBird and Neondaze. UP-DATED March 23, 2009: Last week I had a very fruitful meeting with Premium Publishing. Vol 3 is in the works and it will be released early 2010.<br> There's also another book being written simoltaneously - "The History of Swedish Hard Rock" - For the first time a documentation of the complete history of Swedish hard rock and heavy metal, from the first steps in the late sixties and bands like November and Life, through the 80s hair bands, the 90s alternative metal scene up to today’s wide musical scene ranging from AOR to death metal. Stay tuned for more info! UP-DATED Feb 5, 2009: Ok, I've been really bad at updating, so here's some news. The work on the new book (Vol 3) is going great. This time the task is a bit more time and energy consuming - we're talking 2500 bands here!! ...and counting! THANKS to all bands and labels that have been helpful. Too bad about all the other ones that makes my research so much more demanding and my wallet so much thinner... PLEASE, spending a few minutes mailing me a bio a high resolution and photo and sending a promo will not mean the end of the world! Any and all help is greatly appreciated! I'm preparing a list will all bands for the next book, that will be posted here soon! UP-DATED May 16, 2008: A while ago I launched a new MySpace site dedicated to the new encyclopedia. I will publish news, band entries etc continuously. I of course want to get in touch will ALL Swedish bands and ALL labels working with Swedish bands (which is why this is in English). Cheers! Encyclopedia My Space UP-DATED April 21, 2008: Hi all! Sorry it's been quiet on the Stark Music front. I've been quite occupied with all bands and projects, such as the new OVERDRIVE CD "Let The Metal Do The Talking", BALLS (new CD currently being recorded), CONSTANCIA (demoing) and all other musical and journalistic things going on with Sweden Rock Magazine, FUZZ and Metalcentral. My plan is to relaunch this site with more info on both books, all bands featured etc. Most important - I have now seriously started working on the next book. This time it will be "The Complete Encyclopedia of Swedish Hard Rock & Heavy Metal" - containing EVERYTHING! All bands from both books, updated and completed, plus everything I've missed, all that's been added etc. Therefore - If you have a band, a Swedish band, that has released a vinyl or CD (nope, CD-R doesn't count), please send me a promo copy (with cover), band photo, bio, hometown and info on webpage etc. I don't want to miss any bands out!
